Izzy Amaya

Field Production Manager, Landscape Maintenance

Izzy Amaya is Field Production Manager for SouthernEEZ Landscape Maintenance joining the company in 2023, and responsible for managing day-to-day production, site inspections and quality control audits to ensure maintenance clients are serviced to the highest industry standards.

Izzy was born in Honduras and raised in poverty with no running water, no toilets, and very minimal amounts of food. He attended Catholic School for 12 years and was brought to the U.S. by nuns in 1990, eventually moving to Charlotte in 2005.

He began working in the landscape industry in 2006 and thought the job would only be temporary. Izzy spent the next 6 years working in the field learning the many techniques of professional landscaping. By 2013, he was on an elevated career path learning the business, operations and contracting aspects of the landscaping business. In 2014, Izzy became a field and operations manager, adding account management responsibilities to his resumé the very next year.

Away from work, Izzy spends most of his time with family (mother, children and fiancé). He also enjoys watching documentaries about legal investigations, animals and nature.
