Landscape Foreman

Position: Landscape Foreman

Description:
SouthernEEZ Landscaping is seeking a Landscape Foreman who will serve as the primary leadership role for one of the company’s upcoming landscape teams.. This position is responsible for creating a team focused environment concentrating on efficiently completing projects and maintaining excellent workmanship for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Production Manager to plan, direct, and manage the daily activities for landscape, hardscape, and irrigation projects.
  • Provide structured leadership for crew members to successfully execute projects from conception to completion within estimated hours and material cost.
  • Provide direct oversite for a project team of 2-6 employees.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and servicing of trucks and equipment.
  • Mentor and train team for growth, development, and promotion within the company.

Experience:

  • Landscaping: 3 years (Required)
  • Supervising: 3 years (Required)
  • Heavy equipment operation: 2 years (Required)
  • Prior project management and leadership within the landscaping industry, highlighted by leadership wins.
  • Working knowledge of landscape equipment, trade techniques, and best practices
  • Ability to interpret and implement plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22-$27 per hour

Schedule/Location:

  • Monday-Friday (occasional weekends)
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Fort Mill, SC

Assistant Landscape Foreman

Position: Assistant Landscape Foreman

Description:
The Assistant Crew Leader will play a crucial role in assisting the Crew Leader in managing job sites, ensuring project efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a hands-on approach with a strong background in various landscaping and hardscaping tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Jobsite Cleanup: Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Tree Staking and Installation: Assist with the proper staking and installation of trees according to project specifications.
  • Bed Prep and Plant Installation: Prepare planting beds and install plants, ensuring proper placement and health.
  • Sod Prep and Installation: Prepare areas for sod installation, including grading and soil preparation, and lay sod accurately.
  • Truck and Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on trucks and machinery, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
  • Excavator and Skid Steer Operation: Operate excavators and skid steers for various tasks, including digging, grading, and material handling.
  • Hardscape Experience: Assist with the installation of hardscapes such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures.
  • Irrigation Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
  • Grading: Perform grading tasks to prepare sites for planting, sod installation, and hardscaping projects.
  • Transit Level Comprehension: Use transit levels to measure and ensure accurate grading and elevation of sites.
  • Site Plan Comprehension: Read and interpret site plans to execute projects according to design specifications.
  • Project Management Assistance: Support the Crew Leader in managing projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with clients and team members.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in landscaping, hardscaping, and project management.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining landscaping machinery and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of irrigation systems and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and project specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a landscaping and construction environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and operating machinery.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19-$21 per hour

Schedule/Location:

Position: Crew Member/Crew Leader

As a Crew Member at SouthernEEZ Landscaping, you will be responsible for performing various lawn maintenance tasks to ensure our clients’ properties are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves physical labor, working outdoors, and collaborating with a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing
  • Plant and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees
  • Assist with landscape tasks such as mulching, and annual flower planting as needed
  • Operate and maintain lawn maintenance equipment and tools
  • Ensure job sites are clean and presentable
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients

Qualifications:

  • Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience required
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Our Landscape Construction/Installation business is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic Sales/Business Development professional. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in landscape sales or a related field, such as residential construction. This role involves driving revenue by developing and maintaining client relationships, executing client meetings, providing timely estimates, and ensuring a seamless handoff to production. We value detail-oriented, competitive individuals who excel in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Increase landscape client portfolio through targeted new client outreach.
  • New Leads: Qualify and follow up on all new leads, schedule meetings, generate detailed proposals, and close deals.
  • Account Management: Manage existing landscape business by anticipating client needs, delivering timely estimates, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Pipeline Management: Own revenue pipeline reporting, including signed and proposed projects, to ensure landscape division revenue KPIs are met.
  • Execution: Lead the “sales to production handoff” process to ensure high-quality projects always exceed our clients’ expectations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in landscape sales or a related field such as residential construction.
  • 5+ years of experience in landscape estimating/sales preferred.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, technology-focused, high-growth business environment.
